Clean Hands and Pure Heart

Pastor Joel Osteen talked about purifying our hearts. This means allowing God to examine our motives and attitudes behind our actions.

Do we really know why we are doing the things we are doing?
In what ways are we being false?

It is not enough to have clean hands, we must also have the pure hearts giving them life.

It is not by works we are saved, but by the grace of God.

Psalm 24:3-4

3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ?
Who may stand in his holy place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.
